Dark Chocolate Brownies

My first post from my iPhone. I dropped my internet connection to save a few bucks and picked up the WordPress app, let’s hope for success… Oh, and the photos are gonna suck, my apologies!

I seriously make these brownies once a week. I wish I was kidding but it’s an addiction. I replaced the butter with canola oil to add some healthy fat and used dark chocolate cocoa powder because it’s awesome.

Ingredients:

1/2 c all purpose flour
1/3 c cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2/3 c dark brown sugar
1/4 c canola oil
1 egg white
1 whole egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 c chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 8×8 pan with nonstick spray.

Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in large bowl.

Whisk brown sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla extract in small bowl until smooth then pour mixture into the dry stuff. Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour batter into pan and spread evenly. Bake 20 minutes.
